Defence (Deployment Allowance Adjustment) Determination (No. 1) 2026

Commonwealth law

What the video says

This one's backdated pay for Defence members on the airborne early warning and control operation, in support of the UAE's defence operations. It sets their daily deployment allowance from the 10th of March to the 12th of August 2026, before the operation joined the main Defence Determination. In Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar or the UAE, it's $239.32 a day. In Saudi Arabia, Oman, or listed waters like the Red Sea, it's $269.73 a day. Any allowance already paid for that duty comes off, so no one's overpaid. It starts the day after registration, it's disallowable, and it repeals itself on the 3rd of June 2027. Back pay, with a use-by date.

The voiceover, as written in the video’s script.
