Which law is the NSW reusable cup rule?

Bill · pledge, not law

What the video says

Which law is the NSW reusable cup rule? Right now it's a bill. Parliament passed it on the twenty-second of October, and Parliament's page says it's awaiting assent. It would add two rules for takeaway businesses. From the first of January twenty twenty-eight, accept a customer's own reusable cup. From the first of December twenty thirty, offer a cup from a reuse scheme. Government figures put the maximum fine for that second rule at twenty-two thousand dollars for an individual, one hundred and ten thousand for others. The Government says small businesses will be exempt. The bill text doesn't mention small business. The Opposition says it would repeal the rules. That's a pledge.
